Players return to training
I want live football to return as much as everybody but it doesn’t feel right

The government says all decisions to relax measures will be dictated by medical science

So why is it medically proven highly paid footballers should train but kids can’t kick a ball about in the park

They’ll be right at home training on their own, half of them cannot pass to a teammate anyway.

Re: Players return to training
The players who don't have their own outdoor space are allowed to go to Rush green individually and jog or train alone outside, using their own equipment only, with an hour space in between each player being allowed in. No access to the building itself. That's the official line anyway.

Can't see why anyone should be concerned over this and saying it's not right or at odds with the rest of society and their rules. It's not like they are having five a sides and intense group training, and doing anything strenuous or risky. Exercising alone on private ground is all they are doing. Absolutely fine.

££££ over safety. Whilst normal work can be done using social distancing how the merry fuck can you go back to training (apart from self training) with club mates, manager, physio, training games, tackling etc? If this is OK may as well let the kids out to play footy in the park - no different

I'm sure they will claim they are.

Tricky for physios to maintain it.

Re: Players return to training
Pointless thread, first of all most people on here don't even like football, secondly it just gives them all a chance to vent and hiss from their ivory towers at said topic.
